Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Early Career Cyber Security Engineer in Littleton, CO or Sunnyvale, CA\. In this role, you will: - Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics\. - Conduct system configuration hardening \(e\.g\. DISA STIGs\) - Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level\. - Communicate assessment results\. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of: - General understanding of system and component functionality\. - Familiar with cybersecurity requirements\. - Experience in testing environment\. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. **Basic Qualifications:** - Completed a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline\. - Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance **Desired Skills:** - Windows or Linux \(e\.g\. Red Hat, Ubuntu\) - Scripting \(e\.g\. Python, shell/bash, PowerShell\) - Risk Management - DoD 8140\.01/8570\.01\-M IAT I or IAT II certification \(e\.g\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\. **Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $68,000 \- $119,830\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\. **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $78,200 \- $135,470\.
