Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the packaging line, ensuring products are handled and prepared for distribution with care and precision. You will be responsible for palletizing products weighing between 30 to 50 pounds at the end of the packaging line, consistently lifting 50-pound bags, and accurately stacking them onto pallets. Your role includes inspecting bags to ensure they are labeled correctly and maintaining a clean workstation while adhering to Safety and Quality Assurance procedures. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operating high-speed packaging equipment and completing daily production or QA paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Palletize products weighing between 30 to 50 pounds at the end of the packaging line.
• Consistently lift and accurately stack 50-pound bags onto pallets.
• Inspect bags to ensure they are labeled correctly.
• Maintain a clean workstation and follow Safety and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Operate high-speed packaging equipment and complete daily production or QA paperwork.
• Ensure work is completed safely and within established quality parameters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Experience with palletizing and packaging.
• One year of industrial experience is required.

• High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in the Food Industry is a plus but not necessary.

Work Environment

You will be working in a GMP and SOP compliant warehouse that produces various blends and spices. Safety is a priority, and you will need safety work shoes with reinforced toes and slip-resistant soles, durable work pants, and shirts that cover the shoulders. Long hair must be tied or banded, and wearing jewelry is not allowed. The facility operates on two shifts: 5 am to 1:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 11 pm, with the expectation of 1-2 hours of overtime on some days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
