Strategic Partner - Connecting w/ startup recruiters Freelance Recruiter – VC‑Backed Startup & Agency Experience We’re seeking a high‑performing freelance recruiter (commission based) with a proven track record to place top talent in high‑growth, VC‑backed startups from Seed through Series C. You can make anywhere from $10k‑$80k+ per placement. About You You’ve worked as a recruiter within an agency or in‑house with startups, or both. You’ve successfully placed candidates at VC‑funded startups, especially in the Seed to Series C stages. You live and breathe recruiting: sourcing, screening, pitching, and closing talent in competitive markets. You're comfortable working independently with startup founders or hiring managers to build world‑class teams. You're proactive, organized, and resourceful. No hand‑holding needed. What You'll Do Source and engage top‑tier candidates for technical, go‑to‑market, and operations roles. Bring 2+ years of recruiting experience (agency, in‑house, or freelance). Have demonstrated experience working with venture‑backed startups, ideally Seed to Series C. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both candidates and stakeholders. Bonus Points If You have a strong personal network in tech/startup hiring. You’ve hired across different verticals (engineering, product, GTM, etc.). You’ve worked with founders or founding teams directly.
