Primary Purpose

 

The Global Marketing Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves managing budgets and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms. The ideal candidate blends strategic skills with data fluency and will work closely with senior leadership to align initiatives with business priorities and deliver measurable impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.

• Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events. Identify channels with the highest impact in each geographic region.

• Brand Management: Ensure consistency of brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and materials. Leverage Austco’s global wins and innovations to tell compelling stories.

• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, using insights to inform strategies. Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and target customer segments.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and measuring ROI on marketing initiatives.

• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing with revenue goals, ensuring pipeline growth and market expansion.

• Digital Marketing: Oversee online marketing efforts, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and website management. Develop content (case studies, blogs, sales collateral) that resonates with healthcare executives and stakeholders.

• Communications: Assist with the creation of official communications, press releases, market announcements. Represent Austco at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.

• Team Leadership: Build and mentor the marketing team / function, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Manage agency partners and vendors to deliver innovative, results-driven campaigns.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

 

• 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on leadership roles.

• A proven ability to develop marketing programs that deliver results in a B2B environment.

• Hands-on experience with marketing automation and segmentation tools.

• Budgeting and financial management.

• Experience managing teams, agencies, and multi-channel campaigns.

• High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, with the ability to work effectively across geographies.

• Experience in the healthcare industry is a major plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

• Effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences and stakeholders at various levels.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
