Safety Coordinator / Manager (EHS SME) - Construction
Ready to be the EHS expert on major construction projects? We're hiring a Safety Coordinator / Manager to join our client's team in Exeter, PA . This is an on-site, full-time position with relocation assistance available.
You will report to the VP of Safety and Quality and be responsible for the overall direction and oversight of EHS programs at the facility. Your mission will be to implement, audit, and improve safety policies to protect employees and company assets while working with leaders to achieve peak productivity.
Core Responsibilities:
• Serve as the EHS Subject Matter Expert for site leadership.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and remediation planning.
• Lead employee training on safe work practices.
• Coach and train employees on safety procedures.
Requirements:
• 1-5 years of construction safety experience (3+ years in electrical construction).
• Experience with occupational safety risks in construction.
• Knowledge of developing Job Safety and Job Hazard analysis (JHA/JSA).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional:
• Professional Certification (CHST) is preferred, and the company will pay for it.
