Doherty, in partnership with Polaris, the leader in powersports, is looking for a Test Technician to support the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) and Structural Test teams in Roseau, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands‑on with the development and validation of Polaris snowmobiles — from concept to performance testing. What You’ll Do: Conduct mechanical and NVH testing of vehicle components and systems to support product development. Diagnose and resolve product development issues through assessment, root cause analysis, and problem-solving. Set up, execute, and analyze tests independently or in collaboration with the engineering team. Maintain and calibrate test equipment and lab systems. Provide feedback to support design improvements through NVH and component validation. Collaborate cross‑functionally with NVH, Structural Test, Chassis, and Powertrain teams. What We’re Looking For: 2-year technical degree and 2+ years of related technical experience preferred. Understanding of sound measurement and data acquisition techniques (training provided). Familiarity with CAD models and mechanical drawings preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with snowmobile systems a plus. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Valid driver’s license required. CDL preferred or willingness to obtain. Ability to operate or learn to operate Polaris snowmobiles. Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Working Conditions: Hands‑on, fast‑paced test environment with up to 25% travel, primarily during winter. Work in shop, lab, field, and office settings. Exposure to high‑noise and outdoor winter testing environments (PPE provided). Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs; occasional kneeling, bending, and overhead reaching required. Overtime and flexible hours may be required during peak testing seasons. Why Join Us?
